Description:
EcoStekker is a 'smart' pluggable mains switch. It features a programmable weekly timer schedule. This schedule has a unique capability of setting timeblock during which only the lowest-cost hours will be active. This is intented to work in conjunction with flexible rate energy contracts, which have tariffs that change by the hour.
CE Testing:
The hardware of the product is based on common made-in-china 'smart' plugs. There is no way of competing with those mass-produced devices. However, not all those products are actually made to meet CE standards. Just the mark being present isn't neccesarily conclusive... Therefore we use our knowledge and EMC laboratory to perform initial and periodic tests of various compliance and safety criteria.
