(under construction)
Description:
This custom dongle offers an I²C interface accessible through programming languages such as Python and C#. It was developed for integration with our coin cell simulator in a PCB testing setup, as we couldn't locate a suitable off-the-shelf solution - aside from some development boards provided by FTDI. The design centers around the FT4222HQ USB-to-I²C bridge chip.
The power output can be altered between 3.3V (default) and 5V by means of a solder jumper. Connector and pinout are compatible with QWIIC and Stemma QT. And electrically compatible with Grove I2C peripherals.

Specifications:
- Controller FT4222H
- USB-A plug
- Dimensions 53x18x10mm
- JST SH connector 4-pin
Being fully reliant on FTDI silicon, drivers and libraries,
we can provide only limited support for this device!
